I hope you had a great weekend! I had a beautiful week-end!

We are starting our second week of school and the students are already comfortable with the routines. That is awesome! Please continue to review the classroom rules with your child.

This week we are studying and reviewing the verb: 'Être' au présent. Have your child make up sentences using the verb 'être' au présent.

For example:                  'Être'

                      Je suis malade aujourd'hui.
                      Tu es (e)
                      Elle/Il/On est fort(e)
       
                      Nous sommes contents(es) aujourd'hui.
                      Vous êtes très intelligents(es)
                      Elles/Ils sont gentils(illes).

Have your child read in French every night for 10 to 20 minutes.

SCIENCE: 
Grade 5: We have already started the unit on the Human Body. We will be learning the Respiratory system this week.

Grade 6: We have already started the unit on Diversity of Living Things. We will be learning about the importance of classification. Also the definitions of a Living and Non-Livings things

Grade 5 Homework:
-$35.00 for Activity Fee for Friday
-Verification form to be signed and returned by tomorrow.
