Second day of school and I am happy to say that it is going very well! (Très bien)! The students are adapting very well to the routine. We are reviewing the classroom rules. Ask your child what are our classroom rules. (expectations)
In Grade 5, we learned the use of the adjective.
We started our unit in Science: 'The Human Body'. We had a discussion of what we know and what we would like to know.
Grade 5 & Grade 6: -Have your child practice conjugate the verb: 'Avoir'. Please visit the following website: http://www.quia.com/shared/french/
It's a great website to practice to conjugate verbs, adjectives, numbers... Amusez-vous! Have fun!

The Grade 6 had the first health class with Mme Micheline.
In Social Studies, we discussed what we know and what we want to know about the First Nations.
*Starting next week, (every Tuesday - for 20 minutes), we are starting Integration with Mme Evraire (Grade 5 & Grade 6). This means, that your child will be helping the Grade 2 or Grade 3 to express themselves in French. This is a great opportunity for your child to develop their leadership and be responsible of the younger student's education.
Students are encouraged to read 10 - 20 minutes in French every night.
