Hello Parents,
I have sent an email to your child today for this week`s homework. Your child needs to send it back to me through Google Drive by Monday, February 2nd, 2015.
Encourage your child to use his/her dictionary to help him/her find difficult words. Have your child read the text to you. Your child should pronounce/articulate each word.
This year, students will be working with Google Drive. In the next year, Google Drive will be our main communication in our board. In Grade 7, Google Drive is being used. We are preparing our students with today's technology.
In class, we are using devices to research, work on class assignments. I encourage my students to bring in his/her device. When not in use, the device is in my drawer. The students who are already bringing their device are very aware of my rules.
Students are not permitted to text/use any social media/take any pictures/videos at any time without permission.
If our students do not respect these requirements, a note will be written in his/her agenda and those students in question will lose the privilege to bring in her/his device to school. It is important to educate them and provide the right information.
