Dear Parents,
Another busy week. We are now done our unit: 'Recount'. Next week, we will be starting: 'Procedural writing'. For this unit, the verb at the 'Imperative' will be in use. Here are some You Tube lessons to introduce this new concept.

This week, we have been discussing the importance of reading a book every night. Your child knows that even if he/she knows how to read, he/she needs to understand the meaning of the story. To help your child understand the words or story, he/she knows to use the dictionary, look at the pictures for clues, re-read the sentences more than once to comprehend the meaning. The parents can help by asking questions about the story. It is important that your child reads 20 to 30 minutes each night in order to become fluent in French. Practice is the key!
Here are some examples of the Grade 5 (PICASSO). They are absolutely beautiful! Bravo
les amis!!!
